Twilight, Twilight, Twilight! This IS pretty much my life at the moment. I am in serious danger of losing all my non-Twilighter friends who have threatened just to walk away if I talk about Twilight again... It's only a matter of time before they're converted...!
I am a Briton born and bred, and love England, with all its cold weather and strange politics. Although America has a certain mystery and hype around it, I must admit that I crave Oxford Street shopping (London), news reports about the Queen, Sunday roasts with Yorkshire puddings and English comedy, which, in my opinion, is very good.
I love English TV, although I do wish that producers here would follow the example of American shows and make more episodes in a series. 8 episodes compared to the US average of what -- 23 -- is just ridiculous. I love Dr Who, Torchwood, Skins, My Family, Have I Got News For You, Strictly Come Dancing and Coronation Street. EastEnders is too depressing. That said, I am also a big fan of Heroes, Desperate Housewives, Lost, Brothers and Sisters, The Big Bang Theory and Friends.
Chelsea Football Club is a bit special too.
I'm also a bit of a language geek, as well as having a very obsessive nature (hence the Twilight communities!)... I learn Russian, German and French and love them to bits. My advice is VISIT RUSSIA! I did -- it's incredible. You have to go -- just for the experience of being in a totally different culture.
What I'm looking forward too...?
2nd August -- Breaking Dawn will finally put me out of my misery -- I need more of Stephenie Meyer's writing! I have already read The Host 3 times!
12th December (of whatever else crazy date the film comes out in England) -- Robert Pattinson on the big screen? Drool... :)
